Fourth of July and Grandpa's House

For the 4th of July, we were lucky enough to be able to make the trip up to Reno to visit Jake's family. I am so sad that I don't have any pictures from the trip but we had a great time visiting and seeing everyone.

After Reno, we headed up to Vancouver, Wa where my Grandpa lives. He is turning 97 on the 26th so I felt it was really important to go see him. We asked lots of questions and had him tell us some awesome stories. While there, we also got to see my cousin Heather, a couple of my aunts and an uncle. It was also awesome seeing my sister, her hubs and their two adorable girls! Shellie and I have made it a tradition to go get her girls' ears pierced together. They really don't cry much... I promise. But the initial cry is pretty heart breaking.

Grandpa used to play the harmonica and do back flips for us all the time. Since I figured a back flip was out of the question, I asked him to please play us a song on the harmonica. Love my Gramps...
