In my family, we don't really do a whole lot for Valentine's Day. I would go to school and kids would tell about all the stuff they got for the holiday.

This year, I came home from class and Jake had cleaned the apartment, and got me chocolate and a couple roses.

That afternoon, we went to a wedding reception/ring ceremony, and then headed to town to run some errands.

On the way back, we stopped in Kaneohe and saw The Vow. I thought it was really cute, but sad that it was actually a true story.

Millionaires on the beach

Last weekend, Jake and I had the opportunity to stay at a house the company represents for the weekend.

We felt so cool staying in a $4 million house! It was so nice! We invited a few friends to stay with us the first night, and then we stayed for a couple more nights.

We had fun pretending we were tourists on the North Shore and having a fancy place.

Click here to drool over pictures of the house.

Pictures really don't do it justice.

And of course, there is always a video.

Team Mom.

I'm the Team Mom.

And by that I mean I am the snack-packer, cell phone/wallet holder, sunscreen rememberer (but not so much of a user), picture taker, video taper to Jake's surfer buddies.

Lots of thanks to big bags, especially the new one my mom got me.

It can keep things hot OR cold.

And someday I'll be a real Team Mom.

The one that brings the cool snacks for our boys at half-time or after the game.

And it's gonna be great.
