Hansen's in Uniform

Jake and I officially have jobs! Woo-hoo!

I went through three interviews, a week long training/observation, a "test out", a few "classes" at LTU (Life Time University) and am finally an official full time employee at LifeTime Fitness as a Personal Trainer. I'm really nervous to start my first day on Monday and get real clients. I'm also nervous as it is also a sales job and I've never done sales or a commission based job other than tips from being a waitress way back when. Today I got my uniform in the mail, my official Onyx Level Membership, and my temporary name tag. My real name tag and business cards are in the mail. Talk about being too legit to quit. Even though I have a degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a nationally ranked Personal Training Certification (National Counsel of Strength and Fitness), I am starting out as a Level I trainer until I receive my NASM (National Association of Sports Medicine). However when I do get that, I bypass Levels 2 and 3 because of my other education and fly right up to a 4. Working on getting that certification a-freaking-sap! P.s... I can get all y'all 10-20% off cool stuff like supplements, multivitamins, heart rate monitors, etc. Let me know and I'll give you the hook ups.

Jake is still working online part-time doing property management for vacation rentals in Hawaii. That has been so nice to still have during this transition phase. He's also starting up a company called HomeSource. We're both really excited and a little nervous to see how that pans out. Jake also got a part time job as a server at a place called GameWorks. It's like Dave and Buster's (Chuck E' Cheese for adults). He really enjoys being able to get out of the house and talk to people face to face; not over the phone or through e-mails.

Jake is work so this the best thing I have. His picture to follow.
