The next nine months

The next nine months until April should be interesting.

I will be going to school full time and working...

and somehow also trying to get to the beach! I love the beach...

Jake will be going to school during just the fall semester.  Meanwhile, he's been working a few jobs. Unfortunately/fortunately, they aren't steady money jobs.

He still makes his "calls" for the company Companion.

He is also painting walls in a retirement home. He gets paid a certain amount per room and depends on the size of the room he finishes.

He also works for Jaseboards which is a longboard company. They are local and are selling on the North Shore of Hawaii and online. Jake is the campus representative which means he gets a commission per board he sells. (Btw, we have a promo code you can use to get a rather substantial discount. It also gives us the credit for selling the product! Talk to me and I'll get you the hook up).

And last but especially not least, he is also helping another company to get vacation home owners to advertise through their site. Again, he makes a commission per house he signs.

Ladies and gentlemen, these are no joke houses. They run from $1,000 to $5,000 a night.

A NIGHT! And did you count all those zeros?!

Another perk, they have houses all over the islands and the nights they aren't booked, we get to stay in.

I'll be working my campus job. This time, I'll be paid as an Athletic Scholarship. I'm also incredibly stoked I got this job because now I can say that I have experience when I go looking for a job in the
 Real World.

So, lets hope that Fred Poop's selling abilities are a-mazing.

Maybe if he makes the dough, grad school will be in my future! (and realistically this time)

We are both graduating in April which is so cose yet so very far away.
Technically, Jake will be graduated in December but walking with me in April.

So until then, you'll know what we'll be doing!

  1. Your title almost gave me a HEART ATTACK! You probably did that on purpose you turd. But wow, sounds busy busy and pretty awesome!! :)

  2. Kara, I actually didn't until Jake looked at it and pointed it out to me. I was going to change it but he told me not to.
