New Flooring

When we moved into the house we knew right away that we wanted to rip the linoleum and part of the carpet area and lay down tile. Who wants their kitchen table to sit on carpet? Not I, Cap'n! Yesterday, we went down and looked at tile in a warehouse, because we were told it would be cheaper there. We were a little sad after looking at the prices but went to Home Depot afterwards to compare. Home Depot was actually cheaper!

Whaaat?!

Now, because we are trying to do this as cheap and cost effective as possible, we are doing it all ourselves.

Yup.

And to be honest, I'm pretty nervous about it! We are doing the bathroom first to get a hang of things and make sure we are even slightly skilled in the craft. We tore up the linoleum in the bathroom last night and will start laying the tile soon!
